I have been helping people for kundalini problems since 2010 with very encouraging results.
I myself have gone through a kundalini awakening 45 years ago (at the age of 17), which became much more pronounced at the age 24 while attending several courses of bioenergetic therapy. This form of therapy uses painful body postures and screaming in order ‘to smash’ one’s body armour and allow the life-force to flow. It is a rather brutal approach and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone who is seeking personal and and spiritual development.
The good news is that I managed to come to terms with the initial crisis of the awakening my kundalini and that I learnt to deal with a great number of kundalini problems over the years. As time went by I also received more and more of the blessings of the kundalini, which are states of great bliss, creativity, a sense of aliveness and numerous spiritual insights.
I have been a psychotherapist since 1988 and a Buddhist teacher since 1995 and I am therefore well-equipped to help my clients to deal with the numerous challenges that even the most benign kundalini awakening entails.
Many of my clients want me to help them to ‘switch off” the kundalini, but unfortunately, that is the very thing that is not possible. In my experience the multitude of kundalini symptoms like weird body sensations, emotional roller-coasters and frightening visions are due to the fact that kundalini amplifies whatever is going on in our mind – the good and the bad.
In most of my clients these symptoms subside after a few weeks or months of working together and here is how I would work with you:
I always start with the most pressing emotional problem. In many of my kundalini clients that is fear. This fear can quickly be alleviated by using higher-consciousness healing. Once you feel less frightened you are already in a better state to deal with whatever kundalini brings up in you.
Simultaneously, I will explain to you why kundalini is creating all these weird and sometimes frightening symptoms: it is essentially an opening of your unconscious mind and that can be very confusing for the unprepared mind. Throughout the sessions with me I will prepare you to deal with anything that will come from your unconscious mind be it childhood traumas, past life memories, clairvoyant impressions and general over-sensitivity.
Ultimately, kundalini ‘wants’ us to engage whole-heartedly in a spiritual path, whatever path we have chosen. In order to do this we need to sort out every area of our mind where we still harbour unhealthy attitudes – emotionally, spiritually and also physically.
Sorting through these attitudes is a very personal process, which is why there is no one-size-fits-all is sufficient. But the good news is that by using the process of higher-consciousness I will help you to work through these problems in a relatively short time.
My overall experience is that physical problems subside the more psychological or spiritual problems we resolve.
